Welcome to Ala-Mo Chisme! My name is Jose Ramirez, and I'm thrilled you're here. I'm a San Antonio native, though my roots stretch back to the rich culture of the Rio Grande Valley. After graduating from Texas A&M-Kingsville with a BBA in Marketing, I spent six fulfilling years as a middle school math teacher. Now, I'm excited to combine my love for San Antonio, my marketing background, and my passion for storytelling to bring you this blog.

My Why

Life outside of the blog is equally exciting! I'm married to the incredibly talented Rayne Ramirez, who also dedicated five years to education as a Special Education teacher. Now, she's pursuing her entrepreneurial spirit by crafting and selling beautiful handmade acrylic and clay earrings right here in San Antonio. You can find her stunning creations at Rayne Cloud Creations. Her dedication and passion inspire me every day. We're also the proud parents of two beautiful dogs, Korra and Eevee, and we recently welcomed our newest family member, our newborn son, Milo Blue Ramirez! He's already bringing so much joy to our lives.
